Chicken Salad w/Greek Yogurt

So want chicken salad, but don't like mayo, or want a healthier version of the classic mayo version? And a great thing about chicken salad is that you can add different things to it such as fruit; grapes, dried cranberries, or apples, or vegetables; cucumbers, celery, or even shredded carrots (yes it does sound weird, but it tastes great!)

So lets get started!
~~~
Here's what you will need for the basic recipe!
Shredded chicken, for this you can use pre-made chicken, or make some fresh
Plain greek yogurt
Other things that you can add include; grapes, apple, carrots, celery, nuts, cucumbers, dried cranberries, or raisins, etc.
~~~
1. If your chicken isn't already shredded, then do so, you can do this by either taking a fork and going up and down on the piece of chicken, or just peeling it with your fingers.

2. Put your chicken in a bowl, large enough to mix all of your ingredients together. Then, add 1-3 Tbsp of plain greek yogurt into the bowl, you may need to use more then 3 Tbsp, depending on how much chicken you are using, and mix the chicken and yogurt together; add more yogurt if needed, to get to your liking.

3. Add any other things you would like, some things that pair well together are apples, and walnuts; and dried cranberries, grapes, and pecans.
~~~
So as you can see, this is a very simple recipe, that can only talk like 5-10 minutes at the most; if you have the chicken all ready. So I hope you enjoy this recipe! Have fun making this if you decide to! :3
I'm backkkk.
So first off all, for those who do come on my blog, sorry for my like 3 month long absence. I was just in a slump where I didn't feel like blogging. So yeah, now...on too the post.
~~~

Okay, so I'm a night owl, if you can't tell from the title, and I'm working on getting back on a sleeping schedule since school is in like 2 weeks (summer went way to fast!) Now I'm in cyber school, but I still need to be on a schedule for those who are wondering, so I can attend live lessons (which is one of my goals for this year) **These tips are what I find works for me, they may not all work for everyone!

~~~
So Tip #1: Stay hydrated, water is the best way to go with this, with maybe one or two caffeine drinks during the day to keep your self awake, be sure to stay hydrated though, if you don't, I find that it makes me even more tired!
Tip #2: Exercise! Now I don't mean like a 60 minute workout, just like 5-10 minutes worth of jumping jacks, sit-ups, etc. Just to keep yourself energized, I usually do this every few hours.
Tip #3: Scents, I usually do this by spraying some perfume on my wrist and the smell usually helps keep me awake, it works best if you use a stronger scent though, not such as a light one, I use realtree usually, but also you can burn a candle that has a scent such as sweets, don't use scents such as lavender.
Tip #4: Water (Splash!) Try splashing your face, or wrists with cold water, or if you don't want to get wet, sucking/chewing on crushed ice may also help!
Tip #4: Nap time! Try taking a nap if you get overly tired, only a hour or so at the most though.
Tip #5: Listen to music, this can keep your self awake, especially if you are using headphones/earphones.
Now usually it takes me a few days to get back on schedule, because sometimes I do fine my self taking too long of a nap, dummy me. But anyways don't be discouraged if you dont get back on your schedule right away. (Laughs because cat is like attacking phone because im playing music out loud. Cuteness.) But anyways, good luck! Ipsy May 2014 Sneak Peeks!
Sneak Peek #1: Let your beauty bloom with one of these soft, fresh shades to cheer up your spring style!
So these look like they are either something new Pacifica is releasing, or a Ipsy special, because I could not find these duos on their website! However, the colors do look like they come from two of their quad palettes.
So the duo on the left looks like it has the colors urchin, and skinny dip (the one on the far left, and the one on the far right) from the Pacifica Enlighten Palette.
The duo on the right looks like it has the colors opal, and celestial (the two colors on the left) from the Pacifica Mystical Palette.
Value: $14 for quad, so I'd estimate about $7 for each of the duos
Ipsy April 2014 Review!
So...WARNING in this post you will find proof that IPod's do not take good photos, and I lost my phone atm so...I worked with what I had, and tried to edit it to make it look better... so. on with the review!
Its small, but if I make it any bigger it will get too blurry, sorry!
So beginning the review, I'll go in order from this photo.
So starting with the Benefit lollitint, I have got to say this is a very small sample for a deluxe sample. But I did like the product over all, it also has no smell! (If a product smells bad I will most likely not use it!)
The second product was a Cailyn Tinted Lip Balm in the color "Acid Pink" Usually I don't like darker colors, because I don't fell like they look that great on me, but I really love how this color looks on me, and the fact that it is a balm, and not really so much of a lipstick it makes me love it even more, It is kinda drying though if you dont wear some type of other balm underneath it.
The third item was a travel size of Urban Decay's Velvet Glide-On Eye Pencil. This was just as good as I thought it was going to be, it goes on so smooth, and stays on really well.
The forth item is City Color White Gold. I thought I could use this as a highlight maybe, but nope. this has a very golden glow to it, and the color really does change to gold from white. The only complaint I really have with this product is it is very soft.
Lastly, I got Kiss Lashes in "Flirty", I don't wear fake lashes, and I don't think I am going to be wearing these, they are too dramatic for me, they are very soft though.
DIY Natural Lip Stain!
                                                   *I did not take this photo*
                      *Please note, the reason I am not taking my own photos is because*
             *I want to have decent photos, and my IPod...it doesn't really take decent photos.*
Okay, so I know I'm not the only one that hates lip gloss and lipstick (well most of it anyways)Well anyways on pinterest the other week I saw a post to make a lip stain, but I wanted to figure out how to make my own, so I've been looking into it and trying to find a recipe that will actually work...believe be this has failed...a lot.
So what you will need:
Olive Oil, Jojoba Oil, or Coconut Oil, just make sure you liquefy it
Berries! (Cherries, Raspberries, Pomegranate Seeds, Etc.)
Small Cauldron? <<<Sorry Not 100% Sure What To Call It)
1. So First Take your berries, and mash them so you get the juice, if they have a seed, cut it in half and remove the seed(s)
2. Drain the juice through the cauldron, to remove all the pulp, and skin that may have gotten into it.
3. Put in about 1/2-2 tsp of oil, (I found that with some of the juices like blackberry I had to use more) Start at 1/2 tsp and work your way up so you don't use too much, the consistency should be very liquid-y, but not overly liquid-y...sorry if that was bad explaining.
4. Pour contents into a small container.
*TIP* If you use Coconut Oil, It should Harden to be a Solid Lip Stain.
I found that the ones I made with olive oil lasted about 2-5 days out of the fridge, and about a little over a week in the fridge, the ones made with coconut oil lasted a bit longer, weird but they did maybe cause they were solid? But anyways just to warn you, they aren't gonna last like normal ones, so I suggest making it in small batches!
Have Fun Creating!
Also, Have fun experimenting the colors, different mixtures or berries will make the colors vary. :3
